Because of Tristan I am a consultant with a company called Heritage Makers. I have learned that it’s so important to write down the stories of our lives and through my business Get Storybooked, people can create their own personal libraries of the stories in their lives that are important. Anyone wanting to know more about creating their own storybooks can email me at GetStorybooked@gmail.com or check out my Heritage Makers site at GetStorybooked.com .
Here is a look at Tristan’s awarded book.

Just wanted to leave you a note and thank you for sharing your experience. We just buried our son on Saturday after experiencing a saga similar to yours (tricuspid dysplasia). Last year on the same day as you had Trisitan, we were losing a another child who was only 12 weeks along. It was also our wedding anniversary. When I was first reading your blog, I thought, “what an ordeal.” Then we lived the same thing, except the doctors could not answer much and were somewhat baffled by the development of the whole case. Your experience was helpful for me to prepare myself for the possiblity of losing our son Aiden. I could not tell my wife your story until we were faced with the choices that we had to make similar to yours. A comforting thing was that two of the attending docotors in the NICU (who were mothers themselves) stated after Aiden passed that they would have made the same coices themselves. Now we are just left working through the grieving process. Thanks again for your blog.
